Why Rostik is banned

Rostislav_999 is currently one of the most popular streamers in Dota 2. He appeared only a couple of years ago, but during this time has already gained a huge popularity, in which he was greatly assisted by a professional player Bogdan "Iceberg". They were well acquainted, and on the streams "Iceberg" often encouraged his viewers to visit the channel to Rostik. So thanks to his personal qualities and help from Rostislav_999 quickly found an audience that loved him.

Streaming career

Even before his fame, Rostislav was a good player, had a large amount of MMR, and often played in publishers with current or former professional players. He usually played centre position, and had his own pool of heroes, which he used to win a lot and had a good winrate. But then Rostislav stopped playing there, shifting to lower rated accounts, where he was booing, playing against weaker opponents.

He became more and more popular, so he became a frequent participant of "Streamers Battle" series of tournaments, where he showed good results. Rostislav often changed his game accounts, which will still leave a mark on his reputation.

What started the wave of bans?

About half a year ago, Rostislav_999 bought an account that had very high MMR. Rostislav often played with professional players in ranked mode, and after a while he got his account into the top 200 in Europe. Many people did not like the fact that a person just bought an account, can play on such a rating, and after a while he was blocked. But he did not despair, and took more and more accounts.

Because of what he is now not allowed to play?

Recently, Reddit players noticed that Rostislav_999 was smurfing, which is forbidden by Valve rules and is punishable by a permanent ban. They began complaining about a system that doesn't penalise him in any way, and Valve took action. As Rostislav himself says, they put a personal agent behind him, who bans every account Rostik logs into. He is banned at the first game he finds, and this has been going on for a long time.

Recently, Rostik decided to make a deal, and agreed that he would stop smurfing, create a new account, and develop it, in return, he was promised that the bans would stop. But during the calibration, they banned his new account, which was supposed to be the main account. Now the Dota 2 streamer can no longer play the game, and it is not clear what and when it will end.
