In CS2 there is a huge selection of weapons, each of which is different and have different characteristics. They can also differentiate, depending on the game for a certain side. But like many games, there are favourites that have advantages over other weapons and are bought much more often. They have higher firepower, and have been in the game for a very long time, since the first parts of the game. These are the types of weapons that will be discussed in today's selection.

AK-47 

Let's start with AK-47, undoubtedly the best weapon in Counter-Strike 2. AK-47 is a weapon of terrorists, but even Special Forces players like to pick it up. With this weapon in your hands, it doesn't matter what kind of armour the enemy has - one accurate shot to the head is enough. It has a strong recoil, so it is hard to control, but in skilful hands it always turns into a deadly weapon.

M4A1-S 

The second weapon on the list is the M4A1-S. The reason why the M4A1-S is in second place instead of the M4A1 is because of its popularity among players, as well as the presence of a silencer. The M4A1-S is the most popular among players after the AK-47. It is the best assault rifle that counter-terrorists can have and it is a great analogue to the Kalash.

AWP

The AWP is the strongest sniper rifle in the game. It has a huge popularity, and can easily change the outcome of any game. In skilful hands it turns into a formidable weapon that kills any enemy in one shot.

Galil AR

An excellent assault rifle, which is available only to terrorists. It is a good analogue of AK-47, which is almost equal to it in firepower, but costs much cheaper. It is a great option for a frugal round where you have little money and need to spend it on something worthwhile.

Desert Eagle

The Desert Eagle is also commonly known among players as the Deagle. It is capable of killing enemies with an instant headshot, even if they are wearing a helmet. It is a very deadly weapon that costs only $700. Plus, it is one of the most favourite guns among players, and definitely one of the best guns in the game.
