Most Dota 2 players have been waiting for a new global patch that will shift the meta, change the map, add a new hero and items. For a long time the whole community has been speculating when the long-awaited update, promised after the New Year holidays, will be released. But the developers decided that it's still early, released a mini patch, and wished the players all the best, promising that the update will be released in mid-April. Important changes

One of the most important changes was the change of the banning system. They removed the character ban stage from the game, moving it elsewhere. Now in the main character menu you will see a table where you can put characters you dislike in advance, thus not wasting time during the game and increasing the chances of banning a character. This is a very nice change that will appeal to most players.

Dota+ changes

This is also a very good change that will give advantages over those who do not have this subscription. You will now see the characteristics of the found game, its decency, ping, and skill spread. Major changes to items and heroes 

One of the main changes is the rework of Divine Rapier, which in the last patch was very strong, and was almost the main item on some heroes. Passively, she gives +100 damage. This will weaken the item significantly, and make it more rare to buy.

There were also multiple minor changes to heroes that bring them into balance, or help new ones shine. Not a bad upgrade was Tinker, which now has an increased range of the third ability.
