To prevent this from happening again we have prepared an article for you, which will help newcomers to get used to the game, and understand what to do in it.

Roles in Dota 2

In Dota 2 there are five main positions, based on which you will build your future gameplay. They are divided into: Kerry - 1st position, Meade - 2nd position, Offline - 3rd position, Partial Support - 4th position, Full Support - 5th position. The 4th and 5th positions are Sapports, who protect their cows, drop consumables, place warlocks, help on the lines. Positions 1, 2, and 3 are cor positions that farm, buy items, and contribute a lot of damage and control in fights. To determine the further style of play, choose a role that you like and start developing in it.

Heroes

Each role has its own specific heroes, of which there are over 130 in total. Pick a hero that you like in terms of play style and start to get a better understanding of it. If suddenly you can't choose, we advise you to play in Single Draft mode, where you can choose only 3 heroes. This will help you to understand them better and expand your pool of heroes considerably.

Farming and buying items

As mentioned above, there are only 3 positions to farm: kerry, mid, and offlane. If you play on them, then pay proper attention to lusthit. Try to kill as many creeps as possible to earn money from them. To practice lusthit, you can go into a hero trial, or a special customization. Competent flipper is one of the most important parameters in Dota 2.

With the money you have earned you should buy items that will make your character stronger and allow you to win the game. To find out the recommended items for your hero you need to go to the store menu, and then choose one of the proposed builds. Study the items in the lobby so that you already know how they work when you play the game.
