Recently Counter Strike 2 received a big update, which brought a lot of new features to the game. Was added net_graph, shaking hands, and a lot more. Also the developers have returned to the game favorite mode "Arms Race", which was still in CS:GO. We offer you, and those who have started playing recently, to familiarize yourself with it in more detail, and tell you what you need to do in it.

What is this mode?

It is a non-ranked mode in the style of "deathmatch", where you need to pass levels, killing opponents with certain weapons. The game lasts until one of the participants passes the challenge to the end and ends the game with a knife kill, which is definitely not easy to do. In the event of death, you are revived for a while and then continue with the weapon you reached.

The weapon combinations change frequently, and can be completely different from game to game. This is a very fun mode that will help you have a good time in company, or to practice shooting different weapons.

Maps for the mode

For the arms race, the developers have released special maps that are great for this mode. They are very different from each other, and therefore I propose to analyze them in detail.

Actions on the map "Baggage", take place in the airport, which is very similar to the map "Nuke". It's a large map with enough space for all players. The map "Shoots" is made in a style generally reminiscent of "Ancient". It is a transfer of a similar map from CS:GO.

General tips

The most important thing here is the constant movement and observation on all sides, because opponents can appear absolutely out of nowhere. Maps are perfectly matched to the mode, and therefore skirmishes will occur constantly. Also this mode is great for those who want to pump their aim, because here you shoot with different weapons and do it very often.
